Born with a profound and bilateral hearing loss, Patricia has been fascinated with digital media since its infancy. This led her to pursue it, by picking up skills from online courses, and creating her own content through videography and photography as a hobby, but never professionally. Whilst she obtained her diploma in Electrical Engineering and degree in Computer Science, she has always longed to make a career out of her first love.
She took the plunge and joined Equal Dreams enabling her to not only pursue her passion by managing their online presence through social media, but also hone her technical skills in the development of their website. She also supports other initiatives and programmes while on the road deepening her knowledge in the area of accessibility field.
In her personal time, Patricia continues to improve and grow as a creator, while being a passionate performer, particularly in street dance in the local all deaf dance crew, Redeafination.
