Kah Wee is a Digital Accessibility Specialist at Equal Dreams, with deep-rooted lived experience as a Person with Visual Impairment. His journey in accessibility began by teaching assistive technology to individuals who are blind or have low vision — through which he shared his expertise, empowered users to gain independence, and bridged the digital divide.
Motivated by a strong commitment to raising awareness and fostering inclusion, Kah Wee believes that meaningful change requires both collective societal effort and individual advocacy. He actively promotes continuous improvement, while encouraging persons with disabilities to participate actively in shaping their own representation and recognition.
At Equal Dreams, Kah Wee conducts accessibility quality assessments on digital platforms, delivers training on digital accessibility standards and best practices, and teaches assistive technology to blind and low vision individuals.
He also enjoys collaborating with diverse disability communities, recognizing that each group offers unique perspectives and strengths. Kah Wee is especially passionate about integrating these insights into his work to drive meaningful and inclusive change.
