Lisa is a SgSL instructor with Equal Dreams. She has attended three training-of-trainers courses and has been volunteering for projects and advocacy work related to disability, and the Deaf and DeafBlind communities. She is passionate in promoting complete social acceptance and improving the quality of lives of people with disabilities. She is also the experienced Deaf interpreter for DeafBlind individuals in various settings.
She created a Facebook group called “Sign with us club” (formerly, Singapore Deaf Happy Hour) for providing a socialising platform for every SgSL user to mingle with as well as exposing hearing people to our community value and Deaf culture. Not only her Deaf and SgSL work, but she does advocate works for DeafBlind people.
